ABOUT

The International Conference on Environment Recovery and Reconstruction: War Context 2024 (ERR-2024)  ) is a peer-reviewed international conference, as an international interdisciplinary platform for the scientists and researchers’ presentation of scientific developments and the latest research results, ideas, developments to find solutions for recovery and reconstruction in conditions of war and emergency situations.

The ERR-2024 occupies contributions in all aspects of recovery and reconstruction, focused on the Sustainable Solutions for Energy Independence, Environmental Management, Civil Engineering and for Reconstruction, Ecology and Economic Security and Recovery of Regions and State etc.

We invite you for participation in the Conference and look forward to fruitful cooperation.

CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS

Accepted materials will be published in the collection of abstracts of conference reports. If desired, conference participants can submit an article for publication in the Conference Proceedings in English.

 

CALL FOR PAPERS

The organizers of the Conference received the opportunity to publish Conference Proceedings in the electronic journal IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science, indexed by scientometric databases: Scopus and others. Articles in English will be accepted for publication, which are designed in accordance with the publishing house's requirements.

Authors must prepare their papers using Microsoft Word, according to the guidelines and templates, and then convert these files to PDF.

TEMPLATES

Authors must prepare their papers using our Microsoft Word template, and then convert these to PDF format for submission:

It is important to ensure that when you submit your paper, it is in its final form ready for publication, and has been thoroughly proofread. Post-publication changes are not permitted, so please ensure that your paper has been checked for errors.

As a general rule we would advise that an author does not submit more than two articles to a conference. This includes papers that they have co-authored.

Authors who wish to publish a paper submit a paper only if all authors of the paper agree in full to the terms of the Proceedings Licence.

Paper format
  • The paper size is European A4.
  • Margins are 4cm (top), 2.5cm (left and right) and 2.7cm (bottom).
  • There are no page numbers, headers or footers within the paper.
  • Text is single spaced, not double spaced.
  • All fonts are embedded.
  • All pages are portrait (landscape pages should be rotated).
  • The abstract text should be indented 25mm from the left margin and there should be 10mm space after the abstract before you begin the main text of your article, starting on the same page as the abstract.
Paper content
  • The paper includes the author name(s) and affiliation(s) (full address including country).
  • All articles must contain an abstract.
  • All figures and tables should be numbered in numerical order. Please ensure that figure/table numbers are not duplicated or missed.
  • Figures are legible and placed within the text, not collected at the end of the document.
  • If section headings are numbered, ensure that they are numbered numerically, and no numbers are duplicated or missing.
  • Displayed equations should follow a naming convention in numerical order, i.e. (1), (2), (3) etc or by section, i.e. (1.1), (1.2) etc. Ensure every displayed equation has its own number and none are duplicated or missing.
  • Reference lists are checked for accuracy. References can only be linked via CrossRef if they are correct and complete.
  • If numbering references (Harvard system) ensure that references are numbered numerically, every reference has its own number and no numbers are duplicated or missing.
  • Ensure that all references are cited in the text and that all citations have a corresponding reference.
  • Finally, please ensure that the paper is thoroughly proofread to check the standard of English and ensure wording is clear and concise.
Conversion to PDF
  • The PDF file is editable and not password protected.
  • The PDF is free of formatting errors (e.g. corrupt equations, missing or poor-resolution figures), since conversion from Word to PDF can introduce formatting errors.
  • There are no blank pages.

References to conference papers should include:

  • Title of conference (in italics, initial letter of each significant word should be capital)

All papers will be peer reviewed consider the following key points related to scientific content, quality and presentation of the papers:

Technical Criteria
  • Scientific merit: notably scientific rigour, accuracy and correctness
  • Clarity of expression; communication of ideas; readability and discussion of concepts
  • Sufficient discussion of the context of the work, and suitable referencing
Quality Criteria
  • Originality: Is the work relevant and novel?
  • Motivation: Does the problem considered have a sound motivation? All papers should clearly demonstrate the scientific interest of the results
  • Repetition: Have significant parts of the manuscript already been published?
  • Length: Is the content of the work of sufficient scientific interest to justify its length?
Presentation Criteria
  • Title: Is it adequate and appropriate for the content of the article?
  • Abstract: Does it contain the essential information of the article? Is it complete? Is it suitable for inclusion by itself in an abstracting service?
  • Diagrams, figures, tables and captions: Are they essential and clear?
  • Text and mathematics: Are they brief but still clear? If you recommend shortening, please suggest what should be removed

Conclusion: Does the paper contain a clear conclusion. The conclusion should summarise what has been learned and why it is interesting and useful?

EDITORAL SYSTEM

PUBLICATIONS ETHICS

Statement on Publication Ethics and Publication is a peer-reviewed conference proceedings.

The Following statement spells out ethical behavior of all parties involved in the act of publishing papers: the Chief Editors, the reviewers and the authors.

DUTIES FOR EDITORS

Based on the review report, the Editors have the right to accept or reject the manuscript, or can send the same for the modification.

The Editors must ensure that each manuscript is an original work. After passing this test, manuscript is then forwarded to reviewer for blind peer-review. Each of them will make a recommendation to accept/reject or modify the reviewed manuscript.

The Editors must ensure that each manuscript is reviewed for its intellectual content.

The Editor musts ensure that information regarding the manuscript is kept confidential.

DUTIES FOR AUTHORS

Authors must guarantee that the manuscript has not been published elsewhere.

Authors must guarantee that the manuscript is not being considered for publication elsewhere.

Authors must guarantee that the manuscript has been submitted with the full knowledge and approval of Institution given as the affiliation of the authors.

Authors must guarantee that they have written entirely original work.

Authors should, also, provide all data related with their manuscript.

If the work involves chemicals, procedures or equipment that have any unusual hazards inherent in their use, authors must clearly identify these in the manuscript.

DUTIES FOR REVIEWERS

Reviewers should be kept confidential all information regarding to reviewed manuscript.

Reviewers must ensure that authors have acknowledged all sources of date used in the research. Any kind of similarity between the manuscript and other published paper, must be immediately brought in to notice to the Editors.

Reviewers should express their views clearly with the supporting arguments.

In case, the reviewers feel that it is not possible to complete the review process on time, must inform the Editors immediately, so the manuscript could be send to any other reviewer.

Reviewers should tell the Editors if there is any conflict of interest in reviewing of the paper.
